I think I prefer the Mamas & the Papas, but it's pretty good.
Well. See, now, I don't think that they really compare. I think this one is so different. But when I put the two songs together in my head, I think it is interesting how the idea or concept of "Monday" evokes the emotions that both songs illicit.
